On Monday, March 8, the 1st Quality Healthcare Annual Seminar was held in person, by Dr. Shariff De Los Santos and Lic. Ramon Tallaj Urena, at the Double Tree Hotel, in New York City, United States.
The main focus of the seminar is to train the staff of medical practices in how the health system works in NY City, what are the quality metrics used by different health agencies and how to properly document to comply with these.
At the seminar, Dr. Ramon Tallaj was recognized, a leading and visionary physician who has taken Hispanics to the highest level of recognition in the city of NY, he is the President of Corinthian Medical IPA and President of the SOMOS medical group, which has more than 3,500 healthcare providers and 650,000 patients.
Sir. Mario J. Paredes, Philanthropist and founder of the Catholic Association of Latino Leaders, President of the North American-Chilean Chamber of Commerce in NY and current CEO of the SOMOS medical group.
Each year the goal of the Seminar is to provide continuing education to the community medical practice staff to streamline processes and give patients a better experience when visiting their doctor.
